Lindisfarne pages

The island of Lindisfarne (or to give it its full title; "the Holy Island of Lindisfarne") is situated about a mile off the coast of North Northumberland, connected to the mainland by a causeway which floods with the tide for 5 out of every 12 hours. Check with the Lindisfarne.org.website for crossing times. [www.lindisfarne.org.uk]
